JD LABS: Graphic Designer
I was hired in 2020-22 as a graphic designer, for JD Labs a multi-e-commerce platform focusing on pets and animal-based graphic apparel products. Partnering with animal rescues and pet influencers to help build products & point of sale platforms for them. I would work directly with marketing, production, and management to create an annual inventory of products & seasonal items as well as marketing content. While maintaining the library of assets and print assets. Occasionally conducting research to help increase engagement and conversion rates through visuals.

My Role:
Graphic Designer / UX researcher
Team Members Involved:
Production Manager / Marketing Manager / Team Manager / Shipping Coordinator
Apparel Design
Mockups of various products I’ve illustrated or designed for different partners and platforms using Adobe Creative Suite & Procreate. My process involves collaborating with the members of our team to determine our users’ and partners’ needs while considering timeframes and what was capable with the equipment we had available. Products were imported and created using mainly a (DTG) Direct to Garment process using the Brother GTXPro B with a pre-treat and heat press finish. Products are then packaged and set for shipment.
Marketing / Digital Media
I collaborated with the marketing to design and execute layouts/marketing assets for homepage features, landing pages, digital marketing, social media, site banners, and email blasts. As well as any content needed for partners for promotional purposes.
UX RESEARCH
My desire to help the company grow, lead me to conduct research into how to optimize the user experience on the main e-commerce page Animalpride.com. Using the tools and skills I had gained to create a more visually pleasing color pallet and modernized logo, to help the company expand its demographic of users.
